Fatal Collision on Hwy 76

Trooper Bryan Shepard is investigating a fatal collision that occurred today on Highway 76, 2 miles west of Webbs Crossroads. 42 year old Rodney Irvin was operating a 1996 Chevrolet westbound on Highway 76 when he ran off the roadway, overturned, and was ejected from the vehicle. Death Investigation in Casey County

(Casey County, KY) – Trooper. Mike Woodrum is investigating the death of 19-year-old Antonio Hernandez. Post 15 received the call today at 12:45 EDT from Casey County Coroner Tommy Clark. Hernandez was found by friends in a field about 1/2 mile from his residence at 249 Sharp Rd, 6 miles north of Liberty, after not returning home from going deer hunting. Collision Today Ends In Fatality

(Casey County, KY) – Tpr. Mike Woodrum is investigating a collision that occurred earlier today at approximately 8:30 AM CST 5 miles north of Liberty on US 0127. The collision occurred when a Southbound 2003 Ford 4-door, operated by 20-year-old Joshua R. Lawhorn of Parksville KY, crossed the centerline and was struck in the passenger side. The Ford collided with a Northbound 2004 Dodge Ram operated by 32-year-old Gregory Greer of Knifley, KY.

Woman Shoots Her Husband During Argument

(Adair County, KY) – Post 15 received a call from the Adair County dispatch at 10:48 CST today advising that a shooting had occurred at 177 HWY 1952, 7 miles south of Columbia. Upon arrival, KSP Units found that Tammy Bledsoe, who had called 911, shot her husband during a domestic argument.

Weekend Car Crash Results in Injuries

A three vehicle accident occurred around 9 p.m. (cst) Friday at intersection of Main Street and Hales Hwy. Three people were transported by the Russell County EMS to Russell County Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Russell Springs Police Sgt. Melissa Taylor worked the accident. 17 Year Old to be Tried as an Adult in Local Shooting Case

17 year old Trever Bennett of Russell Springs appeared in court last Thursday in the District Court Juvenile Division. Bennett was being held in the Adair County Juvenile Detention Center after being charged in the fatal shooting case of an Eli woman. Russell County Man Arrested

Tyler Baker age 20, of Russell Springs was arrested Tuesday on a number of charges. The arrest took place around 6:30 Tuesday evening near Half Acre Road on Parole Violation charges, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree and was also served with a misdemeanor warrant for Theft by Deception. Russell County Woman Killed in Head on Collision

(Cumberland County, KY) - Trooper Dewayne Holder is investigating a three vehicle fatal collision that occurred Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in Cumberland County at 6:35 p.m. CST. Joseph C. Davidson, age 24 of Burkesville, was traveling west on KY highway 90 operating a 1999 Nissan pick-up and attempted to pass a vehicle. Davidson’s vehicle struck an East bound 2000 Ford Taurus operated by Misti V. Kemp, age 32 of Jamestown, head on. Kemp, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene by Cumberland County Coroner Gary White.

Russell Springs News was on the scene of a shooting at 80 Old Eli Road last night where two individuals were taken into custody in connection with the shooting. Both Pamela Jane Bennett, age 50 of Russell Springs and a 17 year old juvenile were both taken into custody. Woman Shot and Killed Tonight

Numerous officers and emergency personnel responded to a shooting that occurred around 5:45 this evening on Old Eli Road. Felicia Eads, 29 was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot. Russell Springs News was on scene and spoke to several family members and friends. Witnesses at the scene said Eads was shot in the chest and bullet holes were discovered on the vehicle she was driving. State Police had persons of interest that were being held at the scene. The Jamestown Police Department investigated a two-vehicle accident on Thursday at approximately 3:27. The accident occurred on South Main Street (Boat Dock Road) when a 2005 Dodge being operated by Tabitha Litteral, age 19, of Russell Springs pulled into the path of a 2006 Toyota being operated by Loretta Pfoff, age 75 of Jamestown.
